A practitioner-thinker working at the intersection of community development, social innovation, and political economy. Not an academic, but someone who reads like one and then pressure-tests ideas against messy, on-the-ground reality.
Right now, I run the Hackney Wick & Fish Island Community Development Trust, securing long-term affordable workspace to protect the rich cultural life of our neighourbood, building circular economy infrastructure, and making sure regeneration actually delivers for the people already here.
Former musician turned community asset builder. I went from making records and running a label to locking down 99-year leases for community-owned workspace in East London. Also a trustee of Centre for London, the capital's dedicated think tank.
